About this game

Spellhorde is a fast arcade survivor about one outnumbered spellcaster and an endless horde closing in from every side. Your spells fire on their own, so your hands are free for the part that matters: weaving through the swarm, scooping up glowing experience, and staying alive one more wave. Each run starts you weak and ends with the screen full of enemies and your magic tearing through all of them.

Every level-up lets you draft one of three upgrades, and that choice is the whole game. Stack multicast and side bolts for a wall of projectiles, freeze the horde with Frost Nova, call down meteors, or chain lightning between packs, then watch your favorite combos evolve into something far stronger. Coins earned each run buy permanent upgrades and unlock new spellcasters and worlds, so even a short run leaves you a little tougher for the next.

How to play

1. Move your caster with WASD, the arrow keys, or by dragging; your spells aim and fire automatically at the nearest enemies.
2. Defeat enemies to drop glowing experience gems, then collect them to fill your level bar.
3. On each level-up, choose one of three upgrade cards to build your spell loadout, where rarer cards are more powerful.
4. Survive as long as you can. Grab coins and health drops, dodge the swarm, and beat your best survival time.
